Emirates Grand Hotel Apartments in Dubai has announced the appointments of Berlyn Kilala, who will serve as cluster revenue director, and Hamamouchi Majd who will assume the role of sales manager.
In her new position, Kilala will be responsible for managing all facets of revenue maximisation and profitability through proper management. She will additionally oversee the strategic development and management of e-commerce and reservations while working on strengthening the existing ties with the hotel’s key partners.
Kilala, who brings with her 17 years of hospitality experience, previously served as revenue manager for Sheraton Athlone Hotel in Ireland. She has also held positions at Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Metropolitan Palace Hotel and Best Western International, all based in Ireland, as well as Habtoor Palace Hotel in Dubai.
Moving on, Majd, who has assumed the position of sales manager, has more than 11 years of sales and marketing experience from several luxury properties spanning Dubai, Morocco and US. These include Ramee Rose Hotel & Ramee Atrium, Hotel Andalucía Golf Tangier and Sofitel Luxury Hotels & Resorts.
Majd boasts an excellent track record of setting and achieving high business goals and implementing improvements to sales performance and strategic positioning. He holds a diploma in management at Wyndham Academy in Turkey and Revenue Management in Paris.
