Etihad Airways is launching seasonal summer flights from Abu Dhabi to Alexandria in Egypt.
Between July 2 and August 31, the UAE-based carrier will offer services to and from Alexandria every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Flights will take off from the UAE capital at 14:15, arriving in Alexandra at 16:00. Return flights will depart the Egyptian city at 16:50, arriving in the UAE capital at 22:40.
Enthusing on the seasonal flights was chief commercial officer, Etihad Aviation Group, Robin Kamark: “Alexandria is one of the most popular holiday destinations for UAE residents and our new seasonal flights are timed to provide access for tourists during the peak summer period.
“They will also be a convenient option for many of the Egyptian nationals living in the UAE and planning to return home during the holiday season,” he added.
Following the launch of these new seasonal flights, Etihad Airways will operate a total of 32 flights a week to Egypt – 28 to Cairo and four to Alexandria.
