Fairmont chooses Riyadh for launch of first extended stay property

Following an alliance with Naif Alrajhi Investment company, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts will be debuting a standalone luxury serviced residence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This project marks an exciting first for Fairmont, as it represents its inaugural standalone luxury extended stay property in the world

Fairmont Ramla Serviced Residences, Riyadh, scheduled to open in 2020, will house 249 serviced residences, which will be made up of one-, two- and three-bedroom units, as well as four-bedroom penthouses.

The new project is situated between King Fahd Road and Olaya Street, making it an ideal option for both business and leisure travellers looking for extended stay accommodation.

The property’s facilities will include an all-day dining restaurant and lobby lounge, an extensive food and beverage plaza with three specialty dining concepts, a dedicated cinema room, a lounge and kids’ play area, a health club including a sauna and a steam rooms for both men and women, and tranquil pools located on the 35th floor.

Fairmont Ramla Serviced Residences has been designed by Nikken Sekkei, a highly-regarded Tokyo-based architect, who has taken a modern and eclectic design approach to the project. The facade of the tower is layered with paneling and boasts a structured central pattern, making it stand out among Riyadh’s impressive skyline.

CEO, Accor Middle East and Africa, Mark Willis enthused on the news: “Today’s announcement is an important milestone for Fairmont, with the launch of the brand’s first standalone luxury extended stay property in the world. The announcement also marks the beginning of a new relationship with Naif Alrajhi Investment, with whom we share a unique vision to redefine luxury extended stay in the Kingdom.”
