Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has inaugurated its debut property in Riyadh.
Fairmont Riyadh is a part of the Business Gate community in the capital, a mixed-use development project and business district, and houses 298 keys, 40 of which are suites. The hotel is the closest luxury property to the King Khalid International Airport, which is a 15-minute drive away.
On the opening, chief operating officer, AccorHotels Middle East and Africa, Sami Nasser said: “We are delighted to debut our charismatic luxury brand in Riyadh, which will offer guests an exciting and unforgettable experience. Through its thoughtful design and world-class amenities, we are confident that the Fairmont Riyadh will quickly become a destination in and of itself in a rapidly growing city.”
Guests seeking a greater level of exclusivity and members of Le Club, AccorHotels’ loyalty programme, can enjoy the Fairmont Gold experience, which includes exclusive access to the private Gold lounge, dedicated check-in and check-out areas, meeting rooms and complimentary food and beverage options including breakfast, evening canapes and afternoon tea.
Fairmont Riyadh features a convention centre, offering two impressive ballrooms that can accommodate up to 1,500 guests each, as well as 10 meeting rooms.
Dining outlets include The 365, available all day and inspired by nine international cuisines; Café Connect, which presents busy guests with a unique grab-and-go concept; House of Grill, offering a fine-dining steak experience with authentic flavours of southern Italy; and The Plaza, featuring the signature ‘Savoy Lounge’, which offers delectable beverages and a high tea experience combined with homemade sweets.
Guests wishing to unwind during their stay at the hotel can visit its extensive wellness facilities, such as the relaxation rooms, steam and sauna rooms and an indoor pool.
Fairmont Riyadh has also introduced a private experience for female guests through the ‘Ladies Lounge’, which is fitted with a pampering spa, a beauty salon and a boutique gym. Located adjacent to the hotel’s guest rooms and suites, the Ladies Lounge is exclusively managed by experienced female staff to guarantee full privacy and comfort.
