The Middle East’s premier MALT Excellence Awards recently honoured outstanding achievements in the MICE, business and luxury travel segments within the region.
Held at Rixos Premium, Dubai on February 27, 2019, the event recognised the contributions and achievements of governments, business organisations and individuals that have successfully used MICE as a key tool to increase brand awareness, customer and employee engagement. It also awarded organisers, planners and buyers of business and luxury travel, who have tailor-made innovative programmes for their internal/external stakeholders.
The MALT Excellence Awards was held in conjunction with the MICE Arabia & Luxury Travel (MALT) Congress. The congress highlighted the positive market sentiment in the Middle East for MICE, business and luxury travel, witnessing business at an all-time high with select 100 per cent Middle East buyers, world class suppliers and more than 20 hours of networking opportunities.
The MALT Excellence Awards’ coveted ‘TMC of the Year’ award was bagged by Dubai-based ITL World, while MCI Middle East was honoured as ‘Exceptional Association Event of the Year’.
Speaking on the success of the event was director, QNA International, Sidh NC: “The MALT Excellence Awards aims to recognise and acknowledge some of the great initiatives of organisations and individuals from the Middle East that are making MICE tourism more attractive and creating a great demand for new experiential travel to exotic destinations.”
