On April 15, 2021, flydubai will be resuming its services to Eritrea’s capital, Asmara.
The Dubai-based carrier will offer travellers one weekly flight service, operating between Terminal 2, Dubai International (DXB) and Asmara International Airport (ASM).
“We continue to reopen destinations on our network and look forward to offering our passengers the convenience of direct airlinks to Dubai,” said CEO, flydubai, Ghaith Al Ghaith.
Meanwhile, senior vice president of commercial operations – UAE, GCC, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent, flydubai, Sudhir Sreedharan noted: “We are pleased to relaunch our operations to Eritrea as we continue to offer convenient and reliable travel services between both countries. We look forward to welcoming our passengers from Asmara back onboard our flights as they travel to Dubai and beyond on our growing network.”
Flights to Asmara will operate every Thursday, leaving DXB at 03:45 and arriving in Eritrea at 06:40. The return flight, also scheduled to run on Thursdays, leaves Asmara at 07:45 and arrives back in Dubai at 12:30.
flydubai has been working hard to increase its operations and recently announced the start of flights to a number of destinations including Doha, Istanbul and the Maldives, as well as new routes such as Malta, Tel Aviv and Tirana.
