Eager to secure customer loyalty, flydubai has selected Amadeus as a technology partner for its loyalty programme, ‘OPEN’.
Amadeus Loyalty Management is an end-to-end airline loyalty solution that has assisted more than 35 airlines to date. The future-proof technology enables carriers to leverage their loyalty programmes to unlock revenues, enhance brand commitment and increase customer loyalty.
With the helping hand of Amadeus’ cutting edge technology, flydubai has developed a loyalty programme with an innovative and flexible approach, which meets the needs of the contemporary traveller.
Speaking of the programme was vice president of ancillary revenue, flydubai, Nahed Al Kheily: “We had clear objectives when we were designing our rewards programme. OPEN, flydubai’s new rewards programme, is simple and straightforward. [It] gives our members the ability to earn points easily, spend points at any time, flexibility on how they pay and can earn points together.”
OPEN keeps things as simple as possible and allows programme members to earn at least one OPEN reward point for every $1 spent (excluding tax and fees). Thus, members can earn reward points with every flight, which can be redeemed for flights on any day, to any destination.
Adding to this, OPEN members may opt to join forces with family and friends to pool points, and the programme also includes a co-branded credit card through a partnership with Dubai Islamic Bank.
