Marking a new era for the property, Four Seasons Hotel Amman has welcomed Carlo Stragiotto from Italy as general manager.
Passionate about hospitality, Stragiotto kick-started his career with Ciga Hotels, a major Italian hotel group. His adventure with Four Seasons began in 1993 at Four Seasons Hotel Milano, where he worked as a restaurant manager. He then transferred to Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet in 1997, and proceeded to open Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris in the year 2000 and Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt in 2001.
Throughout his colourful career, Stragiotto has garnered over 25 years of experience with Four Seasons, including stints in Bali, Kuala Lampur and Las Vegas, before returning to Four Seasons Hotel Milano as hotel manager in 2007. He then took on the position of general manager at Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre, before arriving in Amman for his newest assignment.
Stragiotto enthused on his new challenge: “I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter of my Four Seasons career and be a part of the amazing team here in Amman. Together, we will continue to offer personalised service and recognition to every guests while committing to the culture and values that define Four Seasons.”
He continued: “I look forward to carrying on the many successes the hotel has seen since its opening back in 2003, and to become involved with the Jordanian community. From desert to sea, I’m also excited about the opportunity to discover all the marvels Jordan has to offer.”
