Guenter Gebhard has been appointed the new general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre.
Gebhard will apply over 25 years of experience to his new position at one of Saudi Arabia’s most prestigious addresses. He will oversee an extensive renovation project at the property, which is located in Riyadh’s iconic Kingdom Centre. Adding to this, he will work to drive the hotel’s ongoing Saudisation efforts as well as seek new avenues for expansion throughout the EMEA region.
President of hotel operations – Europe, Middle East and Africa, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Simon Casson enthused on Gebhard’s appointment: “Guenter’s extensive international experience in the luxury hospitality sector makes him an ideal choice to lead Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre. His successful track record in taking ownership of complex pre-opening and refurbishment projects speaks for itself, and I am confident he’ll be an outstanding addition to the Four Seasons EMEA team.”
Prior to assuming his new challenge, Gebhard from Germany held a number of senior leadership positions spanning with globe with the likes of Kempinski, Jumeirah, Marriott, Kerzner, and most recently, Mandarin Oriental in Turkey.

Gebhard is a graduate of the Hotel and Tourism Academy in Munich and has studied Finance and Management at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
