Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh has welcomed Mohammad Labban, a Lebanese national, as general manager.
In his new position, he will oversee the operations of the 432 room, suites and villa resort.
Labban joined the Hyatt clan in March 1998, following the completion of a BSC in hotel management from Intercollege, Larnaca in Cyprus.
Since then, he has held various positions at Hyatt Regency Jeddah, Grand Hyatt Amman, Park Hyatt Dubai, Hyatt Regency Dubai and his last tenure as general manager of Hyatt Regency Pune-India.
Labban declared: “My love of hotels started at an early age during a trip to the UK with my parents where I found the organised environment that delivered luxury quite admirable, I then found myself paying extreme attention to every detail in hotels on TV and whenever we travelled.”
He continued: “Each day I have the possibility of feeling proud and I strive for that. I love creating an environment whereby guests leave saying they had a great unique experience as staying in a luxury chain like the Hyatt is what it’s all about, creating happy memories and that is why I love doing what I do.”
