Qatar’s Mercure Grand Hotel Doha City Centre has welcomed Sebastien Vincent onboard as general manager.
Vincent, from Strasbourg, joined the AccorHotels family in 2002 as the executive chef of Novotel Al Dana Resort, Bahrain and has prospered throughout his 14 years with the hospitality giant.
He successfully completed the AccorHotels International Hospitality Management Program – Promotion 2010, a fast-track career progression for future leaders.
With 23 years of industry experience spanning nine countries, Vincent has gained insight and knowledge from the Middle East, Indian Ocean, Europe and Asia.
Accustomed to leadership positions, he is focused on core values and aims to be inspirational to his associates by sharing his valuable knowledge in numerous departments.
Prior to assuming his new position at Mercure Grand Hotel Doha City Centre, Vincent served as the cluster general manager of ibis Muscat for four years, and recently assisted with the opening of Mercure Sohar.
In his capacity as general manager, he will be responsible for overseeing hotel operations and maximising revenue and profitability.
