A milestone in the company’s history and Saudi Arabia’s hospitality industry, The Rezidor Hotel Group has announced its very first Saudi female general manager, Maram Kokandi.

Kokandi will serve as the general manager of Park Inn by Radisson Jeddah Madinah Road in Saudi Arabia, which is set to open its doors for business later on in the year.

President and CEO, The Rezidor Hotel Group, Wolfgang Neumann enthused on the news: “We are very proud to be part of this historic appointment. We are committed to empowering our women in leadership at Rezidor, and this announcement is a momentous achievement, not only for our group but for the hospitality industry worldwide. Kokandi, who studied hospitality management in the UK, has held various hospitality roles in the KSA since her return to the Middle East.
