Sheraton Grand Hotel, Dubai has welcomed Anna Collier as general manager.

In her new capacity, Collier, who brings more than two decades of valuable hospitality experience to her new position, will take charge of the hotel’s performance and operations, while also working to grow its prominent position in both local and international markets.

Collier has spent over 21 years with Marriott International. Following her initial appointment at Worsley Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club in Manchester as assistant restaurant manager, she subsequently held several senior F&B and operational roles in the UK. During this time, Collier was crowned ‘Manager of the Year’ for four consecutive years and led her F&B team to the number one position for F&B service throughout the UK during her tenure at Marriott Worsley Park Hotel & Country Club. She concluded her UK tenure with her first stint as general manager at the Marriott, Victoria & Albert Hotel in Manchester.


In 2013, Collier moved to the UAE, where she worked as the pre-opening resident manager at Marriott Hotel & Marriott Executive Apartments Al Jaddaf, Dubai. Most recently, she served as the general manager of Courtyard and Marriott Executive Apartments, Green Community.
