A seasoned hotelier, Alban Dutemple, has been announced as Swiss-Belhotel Seef Bahrain’s new general manager.
He assumes his new position with over three and a half decades of hospitality experience, which included a 19-year stint with AccorHotels.
Dutemple, a French national, kicked off his career in hospitality as Chef de Partie at a Michelin star restaurant in France in 1978. Since then, his career has taken him to Mexico, Brazil and the Middle East. His most recent position was that of general manager at Leylaty Catering and Restaurants Group in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he worked until December 2017.
Enthusing on Dutemple’s appointment was senior vice president, operations and development, – Middle East, Africa and India, Swiss-Belhotel International, Laurent Voivenel: “We are very pleased to welcome Alban who has an extremely strong local and international experience and a proven track record in the industry. Dutemple succeeds outgoing general manager, Herve Peyre, who was the group’s area general manager in Bahrain.
