David Wilson has been appointed as the new general manager of Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah.
Bringing with him over 30 years of valuable international experience, in his new role Wilson will direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of the luxury property. He will apply his experience to ensure that the hotel continues to provide authentic moments, unforgettable experiences and true Waldorf service.
Prior to his new role, Wilson held the position of managing director at The Ritz-Carlton Beijing and JW Marriott Beijing. Throughout his career he has held extensive leadership positions at properties around the world including that of general manager at The Ritz Carlton Bali Resort and Spa as well as senior management roles with Shangri-La Hotels and Hyatt Hotels.
His hospitality career kicked off with positions in finance and food and beverage departments at properties in the UK, Indonesia and Australia.
