Hyatt Regency Dubai has welcomed Stéphane Blanc on board as its new general manager.
Boasting a long career with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Blanc most recently served as the deputy general manager at Le Méridien Dubai. He also previously opened his very own F&B consulting company in Thailand.
Hailing form the French part of Switzerland, Blanc kicked off his career in the culinary field, and held several senior chef roles in Dubai, Bangkok, Jakarta and Bali. He then moved into F&B operations with Mövenpick Hotels in Asia.
In 2000 he joined the Le Méridien in Dubai, where he held the positions of director of F&B, executive assistant manager, and from 2011 to 2015, general manager.
“I am very excited to join Hyatt, and in particular the team at Hyatt Regency Dubai – an iconic Dubai hotel that I have always admired,” Blanc enthused.
