TTG: In what ways are you looking to enhance not only your business but Bahrain’s tourism product as a whole?

Marriott Executive Apartments believes that the hotel industry and Bahrain’s local tourism play integral roles in each other’s success.

With the local tourism being one of the major drivers of guests travelling to Bahrain, we as a representative of Marriott hospitality give our full support by promoting the Ministry of Culture’s events and community programmes through offline and online marketing.

We have also come up with different packages in the past, in partnership with some of the popular tourist spots in the Kingdom, which we plan to re-launch later in the year. This project aims to advocate theKkingdom as one of the top destinations in the Middle East and to obtain Marriott Executive Apartments’ main objective, which is to create unforgettable experiences to our guests.

TTG: What new markets will you be looking to target and for which segments?

Although Marriott Executive Apartments caters for both corporate and leisure guests, we hold a special interest for travelling families. As a property featuring five-star luxury apartments, we recognise the immense potential of families travelling from the Arabian market, who could benefit from our spacious, fully-furnished apartments that exude elegance and the comfort of a real home.

TTG: What initiatives do you have in place at the moment and how do you hope to capitalise on them?

In an effort to continue to support creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, Marriott International has recently launched a regional summer promotion thereby giving all guests, staying between May 29 to September 13, 2015, a free night stay for every three nights booked topped with a 50 per cent discount on a variety of food, non-alcoholic beverages and spa treatments across 35 amazing properties in the Middle East and Africa region.

As one of the leading travel destinations in the Middle East, we are thrilled to capitalise on this fantastic offer and further promote it to our repeated guests visiting from around the globe. We expect a very positive impact on our sales this quarter apart from a favourable increase on the property’s social media traffic through the Marriott summer promotion hashtag.
