Dubai-based Golden Sands Hotel Apartments is anticipating a 10 per cent growth from the Indian market this year, following its successful participation at the SATTE exhibition – South Asia’s leading travel show.
“After meeting with direct agents from different parts of India, we are confident that we can reach our target of an additional 10 per cent increase from this market this year,” explained general manager, Golden Sands Hotel Apartments, Mohammed Khoori.
The hotel’s delegation met with numerous partners during the three-day event, expressing their gratitude for continuously promoting Golden Sands Hotel Apartments to travellers from northern, western and southern parts of India.
Khoori added: “We met more than 200 agents and received their feedback. The majority of them informed us that Golden Sands Hotel Apartments is the preferred accommodation of Indian travellers coming to the UAE. We have a trust recommendation rate of 92 per cent from friends and family, so this is a major achievement from our part.”
Indian travellers make up some 30 per cent of the property’s guests, including visitors of friends and family as well as corporate guests attending business functions.
SATTE is the biggest travel trade exhibition in South Asia, which unites international exhibitors and buyers who have travel business in India under one roof. The expo is represented by over 1,000 exhibitors and participants from over 40 countries and 28 Indian states,
The exhibition offers networking opportunities and presentations, and features tour operators, hotels, destinations, and online travel portals.
