Abu Dhabi’s Grand Millennium Al Wahda has gained the prestigious Green Key certification – the tourism industry’s leading standard for excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainability.
The five-star property gained the certification following an audit by the Emirates Green Building Council. It was recognised for its environmentally friendly and sustainable practices which have reduced the overall use of resources, as well as its ongoing efforts to raise awareness and create behavioral changes in guests, staff and suppliers.
Enthusing on the achievement, general manager, Grand Millennium Al Wahda Hotel, Enad Tannous declared: “We are proud to receive the Green Key award. This recognition showcases our dedication and continuous efforts to adopt sustainable and environmentally friendly methods.
