In July 2020, Gulf Air will be introducing daily services to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The new flights will be operated by the Bahraini airline’s state-of-the-art flagship Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
Thrilled with the news, CEO, Gulf Air, Krešimir Kučko said: “This is very exciting for us at Gulf Air to reach further places and connect multiple cities in the East and the West to our hub, the Kingdom of Bahrain.”
He continued: “We are glad to resume operations to Kuala Lumpur, a destination known for its leisure and business appeal. We will be operating daily flights to the Malaysian capital as it has proven to be an extremely popular destination to our passengers.”
Gulf Air is tactically enhancing its destination portfolio by introducing flights to feeder cities in order to balance traffic from the east and west of the Kingdom.
The carrier is dedicated to modernising its fleet and has already taken delivery of seven new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, as well as five new Airbus 320neo aircraft.
