As of November 2, 2016, Gulf Air will be introducing new timings for two out of four of its weekly flights to Athens.
Adopting morning flights, the airline’s new schedule is expected to offer customers better flexibility as well as better connectivity from the GCC, the Indian sub-continent and the Far East.
“Since we resumed services to Athens in the summer of 2014, the route has shown strong and steady growth to date,” said chief commercial officer, Gulf Air, Ahmed Janahi.
“Athens is a key European destination in our network and we saw more customers from the region choosing to spend their holidays in Greece. The new timing will offer greater flexibility with the introduction of two morning flights from Bahrain. It will also enhance connectivity time for our customers from various origins in our network”.
Gulf Air operates the four-times-weekly flights from Bahrain to Athens on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
