Gulf Air boosts Jeddah and Madinah services ahead of Hajj season

Gulf Air

Gulf Air has boosted its Jeddah and Madinah services with an extra 38 flights to accommodate pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.

The additional flights will operate to provide expanded capacity due to the increasing demand during the Hajj season. The airline’s regular schedule consists of three to four daily flights to Jeddah and seven weekly flights to Madinah, and annually adds more flights during the Hajj season to facilitate such demand.

“Each year we have increased our flights to and from Jeddah and Madinah to cater to the high numbers of pilgrims flying into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj pilgrimage,” said CEO, Gulf Air, Captain Waleed Abdulhameed AlAlawi. “This is a journey of a lifetime where our Muslim brothers and sisters travel to Mecca and Madinah to complete a core pillar in the Islamic religion. From the entire Gulf Air family, we wish all pilgrims safe journeys and successful Hajj.”
