Celebrating a milestone, Gulf Air marked the 40th anniversary of direct operations to and from Larnaca, Cyprus.
In light of this special achievement, the Bahraini airline granted various regional media representatives the opportunity to explore the island with a familiarisation trip jointly hosted by the Cyprus Tourism Organization.
Striving to promote one of the airline’s key destinations, attendees were granted the chance to experience Gulf Air’s onboard and on-the-ground offering, including its premium onboard product and its Gulf Air Falcon Gold Lounge at Bahrain International Airport.
Meanwhile, the familiarisation trip comprised of tours to a number of Cypriot cities including Larnaca, Paphos and Limassol, and shed light on Cyprus’ vast tourism product which comprises historical and cultural sites, nature reserves, beaches and mountain activities as well as luxury accommodation and delectable culinary delights.
Gulf Air’s direct five weekly flights to and from Larnaca International Airport was introduced in 1976. It departs Bahrain on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
