Gulf Air has resumed services out of Pakistan, with a direct flight from Islamabad International Airport to its hub, Bahrain International Airport, having launched yesterday.
In compliance with the Civil Aviation Authority in Pakistan, flights will only operate with passengers out of Pakistan.
In the days to follow, the Bahrain-based carrier will be adding other cities in Pakistan to its destination portfolio again.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the airline temporarily suspended its services to seven points in Pakistan: Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot and Peshawar.
Gulf Air is one of the few airlines in the world to have operated scheduled flights during the outbreak. It has proven its flexibility and agility to government orders, civil aviation directives and airport closures around its network, and has been responsive to changes and updates regarding operations to and from its network destinations.
