With Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates in Dubai having recently undergone a massive refurbishment, it certainly did not disappoint. The final phase of the renovation saw the launch of the luxury Aspen Chalets overlooking Ski Dubai. During my stay at the property, I was lucky enough to be shown round these snug yet uber-luxury Chalets.
Meanwhile, my arrival at the hotel was verging on late at night, following a tiring journey from Cyprus to Dubai, via Bahrain, so I was grateful for a seamless and quick check-in. Awaiting me in my Grand Deluxe room was not only an enviable view of the Burj Al Arab, but everything I could possibly need for a busy stay in Dubai: a Nespresso machine, coffee and tea making facilities, a working desk, as well as a spacious living room area, bedroom and bathroom. One of my favourite touches was the little treats that were left in my room each day, ranging from plums to jars of sweets and dates.
During my stay I also had the chance to sample the property’s delicious breakfast at Olea. With a weakness for pancakes doused in maple syrup, I went ahead and ordered fresh pancakes every morning. For guests looking for a more savoury option though, Olea offers a range of dips, pastries, breads and cereals for breakfast. Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates also offers a range of F&B outlets such as Salero Tapas and Bodega, as well as Aspen by Kempinski, Noir and Mosaic Chill.
Apart from having instant access to the Mall of the Emirates, the property is located between Downtown Dubai and Dubai Marina. Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates gives guests easy access to the city’s major landmarks, such as the Palm Jumeirah and Burj Khalifa, as well as Jumeirah Beach Residences.
