Nadine El Assaad Al Bulushi has been appointed the hotel manager of Kempinski Hotel Muscat in Oman, making her the first Omani female hotel manager.
An experienced professional hotelier, Al Bulushi is a creative, efficient leader who believes that the success of an organisation comes from a competent and innovative team. She assumes her new role with more than two decades of experience in hotel operations.
Al Bulushi kick-started her hospitality career as Crowne Plaza Muscat’s front office agent and was later promoted to assistant front office manager. She then joined the Grand Hyatt Muscat, where she held several managerial positions in the rooms’ division. During her tenure with Hyatt Corporation, she supported the openings of Hyatt Regency Taba, Egypt, and Park Hyatt Dubai, UAE, as part of the opening task force.
In 2006, Al Bulushi then moved from her room division background to the position of director of revenue, and afterwards, director of sales and marketing at the Radisson Hotel Group. As part of her career with the Radisson Hotel Group, Al Bulushi supported the opening of Radisson Blu hotels in South Africa and provided regional support for hotels in Ethiopia, Libya, Kuwait and Bahrain. She later moved on to a cluster role as executive assistant manager and director of revenue at Radisson Blu Muscat and Sohar.
In January 2019, Al Bulushi joined Kempinski Hotel Muscat as executive assistant manager and has managed to understand and fully commit to every DNA value in a way that is uniquely Kempinski.
She has created traditions in the work environment and proven how people-oriented she can be, while also enhancing the sales and revenue departments and the F&B department, which comprises 11 outlets.
