Hyatt Hotels Corporation recently celebrated the official opening of Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla Resort in Jordan.
The new property represents the country’s first Hyatt Regency and second Hyatt property, joining the Grand Hyatt Amman.
Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla Resort is the first hotel to open within Aqaba’s Ayla development, and can be found within the Marina Village.
As well as 286 beautifully appointed guestrooms and suites, including 37 Regency suites, four Executive suites, one Prince suite and one Royal suite, visitors can also enjoy an impressive collection of retail, dining and entertainment venues, as well as gaining access to Jordan’s first 18-hole golf course, designed by Greg Norman.
Facilities at the property include five dining outlets: The Vista Lounge & Bar, a 24-hour dining outlet in the hotel’s lobby; The Delicatessen, a French patisserie and bistro; Olive Tree, inspired by top olive oil producing countries such as Morocco, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan; La Plage, a Bohemian-themed beach club; and Cascades, a casual Italian pool bar by day and an Italian aperitivo bar by night.
Adding to this, Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla Resort features 913m2 of flexible event and meeting space. The property boasts a 558m2 pillarless ballroom, with an outdoor terrace, as well as six high-tech meeting spaces. On site event planners are also at hand, guaranteeing successful, stress-free experiences.
Other facilities at the freshly opened hotel include the 24-hour StayFit; six spa treatment rooms; an authentic Turkish hammam; a yoga garden; a family pool and an adults-only infinity pool; and Camp Hyatt, featuring child-friendly games and activities.
