Iranian carrier, Qeshm Air, has officially launched services to Muscat International Airport.
Travellers can now enjoy seamless connectivity between Qeshm and Muscat with the new twice weekly flights, which run on Mondays and Thursdays and are operated by a Fokker 100 aircraft. Iranian visitors can make the most of a quick and seamless visa-on-arrival process at Muscat International Airport.
Thrilled with the development, chief commercial officer, Oman Airports, Sheikh Samer Al Nabhani said: “The airport has completed its preparations to welcome Qeshm Air’s arrival at Muscat International Airport, strengthening, even more, the importance of Omani-Iranian relations established centuries ago, in addition to the continuous growth of Iranian inbound tourism in Oman. We are proud to announce that Qeshm Air has joined the Oman Airports family.”
Qeshm Air is an established Iranian airline with a fleet of 22 aeroplanes, made up of Fokker 100 aircraft, Avro RJ 85&100 aircraft, Fokker 50 aircraft and Airbus 320-214 aircraft.
