JA Resorts & Hotels has been busy enhancing its F&B portfolio in Dubai, with three exciting new launches.
Often referred to as ‘the best pizza in New York’, Motorino’s Neapolitan pizza, from Brooklyn NYC, has debuted in Dubai at JA Ocean View Hotel on The Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence.
Founder and chef, Mathieu Palombino has announced the culinary collaboration with JA Resorts & Hotels as his first foray into the Middle East and will personally open the 120 seat pizzeria on November 6, 2019. Highlighting his prestige, Palombino’s delicious pizzas have been recognised as ‘the best of a new generation of pizzas’ by the New York Times.
Vice president of F&B, JA Resorts & Hotels, Rob Cunningham commented on the news: “You can get pizza anywhere, but great pizza is another story. JA Resorts & Hotels has drafted in Mathieu Palombino of Motorino New York because this is personally the best pizza we’ve ever tasted globally, and we want to bring the best to Dubai.”
Also this month, JA Resorts & Hotels will be launching two Phoenicia outlets in Dubai, one at JA Oasis Beach Tower on The Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence and the other at JA Beach Hotel at JA The Resort, Jebel Ali.
Phoenicia restaurant serves up delectable Middle Eastern cuisine with a modern twist. The outlet’s menus have been meticulously created by award-winning consulting chef, Greg Malouf. Both restaurants are set to be authentic neighbourhood eateries that celebrate the enduring popularity and history of Middle Eastern cuisine.
Diners are invited to tantalise their taste-buds with a contemporary twist on Middle Eastern classics, such as Hazelnut Falafel and Seabass Sayadeeya, offering a refreshing blend of the best of old and new.
Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in an impressive collection of desserts, including the Baklava Ice Cream Sandwich, which have a unique and Instagram-worthy twist. Food presentation at the two outlets is simple and rustic, and a discreet licensed bar compliments a wide range of artisan tea’s and juices.
Cunningham declared: “We are confident that our guests are going to love Phoenicia, that’s why we have opened it in two locations. We are working with another multi award-winning chef – Greg Malouf – to create menus that we know will keep guests coming back for more. These are the classics you know and love, but with a fresh perspective and twist that Greg is renowned for.”
