In partnership with Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Jumeirah Group has embarked on its 2015 GCC Roadshow, which kicked off on November 22 and concludes on November 25, 2015.
The annual event will stop off in key regional markets including Jeddah, Riyadh, Kuwait and Doha.
Throughout the roadshow, Jumeirah officials will meet with clients, regional travel trade partners and tour operators to share updates and reveal future plans. The roadshow will also bring to life the company’s ‘Stay Different’ brand promise and highlight its range of 23 luxury hotels, resorts and residences spanning 12 destinations around the world.
As a key source market, the Gulf region accounts for 27.4 per cent of guests year-to-date at Jumeirah hotels worldwide, an increase of 1.6 per cent over the corresponding period last year.
Adding to this, the number of hotel guest nights increased by 16 per cent compared to the same period last year.
The UAE contributes the largest share at 13.9 per cent, while the KSA contributes 6.1 per cent of guests and Kuwait at 4.5 per cent. Residents of Gulf countries also make up a sizeable share of the guests at Jumeirah hotels in Dubai, accounting for 20.5 per cent of guests year-to-date.
