Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur has unveiled its new guest rooms, revealing a chic modern look for its guests.
Having completed the final phase of an extensive $12 million refurbishment programme over the course of a year, the hotel showcases a fresh theme that juxtaposes traditional Malay motifs with modern styling and clean lines.
“We are thrilled to reveal the complete refresh of the guestrooms at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur, responding to the more sophisticated aspirations of today’s traveller,” said general manager, Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur, Harvey Thompson: “Refined and forward-looking, we are confident that such enhancements will transform the guest experience to a more sensory experience that showcases the destination and the hotel itself.”
The hotel’s 420 newly renovated guest rooms now feature grey tiles, white marble and lavish carpet with traditional Malay ‘Batik’ motifs re-imagined with a contemporary twist. Each room offers the signature Le Méridien Bed with hypoallergenic pillows and soft duvets, ensuring a restful sleep experience, as well as 48-inch flat screen TVs, multiple USB power points and high-speed Internet access.
Furthermore, guests can choose from five room categories starting from Deluxe Room, Premier Room, Club Room, and Suite Room to the Presidential Suite.
Additionally, as part of this most recent renovation, the Club Lounge of Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur has undergone a complete refurbishment. Located on the 33rd floor of the hotel, the lounge, measuring 420m2, serves as an exclusive sanctuary of privacy and comfort. Highlights include an open kitchen with a live cooking station, a private meeting room, lounge seating and comprehensive business facilities. Accommodating just 90 people, the lounge provides an intimate setting for socialising or staying productive during a business trip.
