Dan Dominic, an Indian national, has joined Al Manshar Rotana in Kuwait as its new learning and development manager.
Dominic boasts a Bachelor degree in hotel management from the Merit Swiss Asian School of India. In 2014, he started the TAROT programme for Learning and Development, which he finished and mastered in 18 months.
Not new to the hospitality industry, Dominic kick-started his career in 2011 as a guest service agent at ITC Grand Chola Hotel in India. In 2012, he moved to Dubai where he worked at Al Murooj Rotana for almost two years before he transferred to Rose Rayhaan by Rotana as a TAROT participant.
In his new role, Dominic will be responsible in managing the hotel’s training functions in order to promote the desired work culture of Rotana. He will introduce and steer training courses, while also facilitating training workshops based on operational requirements.
His responsibilities will entail analysing colleague development needs in the hotel; delivering professional quality training and development programmes; and evaluating the effectiveness of training delivery by supervisors, plus more.
