Mӧvenpick Hotels & Resorts has officially inaugurated its very first property in the Maldives – Mӧvenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives.
Gracing a private island in the Noonu Atoll, the resort boasts 105 villas and suites, comprising 72 overwater pool villas, 30 beach pool suites and three beach spa pool residences, each with their own private plunge pool.
The resort will be accessible by a 15-minute speedboat ride from the new airport on Maafaru island in Noonu atoll, which will open in early 2019.
F&B offerings at the opulent resort include four dining experiences: the market-style all-day diner, ONU Marché Restaurant, featuring a buffet and à la carte dishes; Mövenpick Coffee Lounge, serving a range of signature Mӧvenpick coffees, chocolates and ice-creams; the pool-side restaurant Latitude 5.5; and the overwater Bodumas Seafood Restaurant, which overlooks the Indian Ocean.
“Mӧvenpick Resort Kuredhivaru is one of the few properties located in the Noonu Atoll house reef, home to some of the most beautiful diving spots in the Maldives and offering guests a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in this vibrant and unspoiled marine life,” chief operating officer, Upper Northeast & Southeast Asia and The Maldives, AccorHotels, Patrick Basset elucidated.
Guests can enjoy a number of leisure facilities, such as the Mӧvenpick Little Birds Club for the youth; a diving centre that organises snorkelling, house reef explorations and cruises; a tennis court; a state-of-the-art gym; a water sports centre; and the Sun Spa by Esthederm.
