On a mission to bolster its Africa portfolio, Marriott International has signed for yet another property in Morocco.
The St. Regis Marrakech Resort is scheduled to open its doors in 2024 within the Assoufid Golf Resort. Upon its opening, the luxury property will house 80 opulent guestrooms and villas, all of which will grant guests breath-taking views of the Atlas Mountains.
Facilities at the high-end hotel will include a spa, a pool and a state-of-the-art fitness centre, as well as six distinctive culinary experiences, including two specialty restaurants and the iconic St. Regis Bar inspired by the King Cole Bar at the brand’s flagship in New York.
Ideal for golf enthusiasts, the new resort will be within arm’s reach of the award-winning, 18-hole Assoufid Golf Club.
Meanwhile, Marriott International has also signed for its first hotel in Liberia, Four Points by Sheraton Monrovia, which is scheduled to open in 2020, as well as yet another property in Ghana, Residence Inn by Marriott Accra Kotoka Airport, which will be opening in 2023.
By the end of 2023, Marriott International aims to boost its Africa portfolio to 200 properties.
