Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort in Morocco was recently awarded the Green Key label for 2019, for upholding and observing sustainable business practices.
The property achieved the certification after passing strict onsite audits that were conducted to determine the hotel’s environmental sustainability efforts and eco-friendly initiatives.
According to the Green Key website, the voluntary eco-label is given to hotels and other establishments in the tourism industry worldwide that have shown environmental responsibility and practiced sustainable operations within their facilities.
“We take great pride in this latest international achievement,” enthused managing director, Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort, Massimiliano Zanardi. “More than anything else, this honour is a testament to Mazagan’s full adherence to the highest global environmental standards in keeping with our commitment to help protect the environment and be a responsible business entity. We are thrilled that our efforts to make a differenceconcerning our planet have been recognised.”
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme, the hotel has launched a number of activities geared towards environmental protection and sustainability out of its firm belief in the importance of this drive for generations to come.
