With its spotlight firmly placed on Saudi Arabia, Millennium Hotels & Resorts MEA is in gear to open new properties across the country to cater to anticipated demand.
The first phase of the plan entails the launch of six new properties in Makkah, Madinah, Tabouk, Jizan and Baha, in addition to recently opened Millennium and Copthorne Makkah Al Naseem hotels. This incredible expansion will initially create over 6,000 new jobs within the country’s hospitality industry across various functions.
In line with the Saudi Vision 2030, Millennium Hotels and Resorts anticipates tremendous growth in the travel, tourism and hotel sector of Saudi Arabia. Industry outlook records extensive visitor growth in the leisure, religious and corporate traveller segments, thus accelerating the need for more hotels across the Kingdom.
Chief operating officer, Millennium Hotels and Resorts Middle East and Africa, Kevork Deldelian declared: “We are fully committed to strategic expansion in Saudi Arabia, extending our reach across the entire Kingdom, with new hotels planned to open in various locations in the next two years. New properties are set to become key landmarks in different cities of the KSA.”
