Greece National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) has launched a campaign called ‘Now is the Time’ in a effort to incentivise travellers to take advantage of Greece’s favourable autumn rates and make last-minute bookings.
The move is part of Acting Minister of Tourism, Greece, Elena Kountoura’s plan for promoting Greece to the international market with the aim of lengthening the destination’s tourism season.
The ‘Now is the Time’ campaign simultaneously offers travellers the chance to win one of three trips to Greece for two people through a social media competition. The campaign and the competition run until September 23.
In light of the campaign, GNTO has launched a dedicated website and is also promoting it with the hashtag #NowIsTheTime, which is being plugged through GNTO’s various channels in the mass media, but also through the organisation’s advertising on Facebook, Αdara and Taboola in the country’s key markets, specifically: the UK, Germany, France, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Poland, the US and Canada.
