OKU Hotels, a new boutique hotel brand, has appointed Perowne International to represent its first two properties, OKU Ibiza and OKU Kos, which are due to launch in 2021.
Perowne International will launch the OKU Hotels brand to the international market and will provide strategic communications for the collection.
OKU is derived from the Japanese spiritual and architectural concept of ‘inner space’. The ethos of the new, upscale brand is to offer relaxing sanctuaries in stunning destinations and provide a multisensory journey with wellbeing practices, dining and music experiences.
OKU Ibiza, which is scheduled to launch in May 2021, is an adult-only Balearic retreat on the south west of the island. Boasting one of the largest pools in Ibiza, and just a moment’s walk from the beautiful Cala Gracio bay and beaches, the property is inspired by nature and barefoot living, with sustainability at its core. It will house 189 guest rooms and suites, and an opulent four-bedroom private villa offering the utmost in privacy.
Meanwhile, OKU Kos, which soft-opened in July 2020 and is fully launching in April 2021, is an intimate village-style beach hideaway on a stunning Greek island. It comprises 100 spacious guest rooms, including suites with private and semi-private pools, and a handful of private two-bedroom villas. Expertly fusing together restorative wellness and local culture, the boutique hotel will be a tranquil sanctuary for those looking to relax and unwind whilst connecting with the destination.
Looking ahead, OKU Hotels aims to further bolster its collection globally in the coming years.
