Oman Air has appointed Madina Al Balushi as country manager – Bahrain and Najma Al Naamani as sales manager – Sri Lanka.
Both Omani nationals, Al Balushi and Al Naamani will represent the carrier in Bahrain and Sri Lanka. They will work on further strengthening the airline’s revenue growth in the two destinations by utilising their experience gained whilst spending many years in various commercial roles.
The appointments highlight Oman Air Management’s mission to encourage Omani ladies to move into frontline revenue generating roles.

Women currently make up over 32 per cent of Oman Air’s workforce. The airline pursues a proactive policy of recognising talented and qualified women, and providing them with the necessary support to excel.
Women are well-represented in a range of roles at Oman Air, including engineering, airport management, airport services, marketing, customer services, cabin crew, flight operations, sales and communications.
