Oman Air’s inaugural flight to Casablanca, Morocco, officially touched down at Mohammed V International Airport on July 1.
Aboard the inaugural flight were Minister of Tourism, HE Ahmed Nasser Al Mahrizi; CEO, PACA, HE Dr Mohammed Al Zaabi; along with the airline’s senior management team, who were received by Oman’s Ambassador to Morocco and the country’s top-ranking officials.
Following the reception, Oman Air held a press conference to brief media on its new destination and the significance of the new route to the carrier’s expansive network.
Flight WY171 will depart Muscat on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 01:20, arriving in Casablanca at 07:10. The returning flight WY172 will depart Casablanca at 08:20 on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, landing in Muscat at 19:15.
