Eager to refine its already impressive product, Oman Air has announced a transformation plan which entails a number of operational improvements.
During a meeting with hundreds of Oman Air employees, CEO, Oman Air, Abdulaziz Al Raisi explained that the plans, which were established over several months with company-wide input, are thoughtful and practical.
He commented: “A transformation programme is not an easy task. All of us, we need to drive this programme.”
Al Raisi, along with other company leaders, recognised Oman Air’s improved performance this year, with the carrier being ahead of its schedule for improvements in efficiency.
The newly announced transformation plan entails fleet harmonisation, organisational restructuring and a digital transformation. It calls on employees to make suggestions on how the airline can improve, while also extending to Oman Air’s leaders, who are committed to reaching the carrier’s 2023 goals.
Al Raisi concluded: “Our transformation plan requires major changes, which can be disruptive, but we work in an industry of constant disruption and we must be proactive. We have every reason to believe that all of our people will deliver the results we need.”
