In an effort to further inform on the Sultanate’s eclectic tourism offering, Oman Visitors Portal (www.omanvisitors.com) has now been made available in Arabic, English and Italian.
Adding to this, the website is now supported by a wide variety of social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram, thus allowing people to interact online and share experiences.
The dedicated portal, designed with the web-surfer in mind, allows for the discovery of Oman’s various tourist sites, providing dynamic and comprehensive information on attractions, recreational activities, tourism and cultural experiences, heritage and various events.
The portal comprises of a search function for hotels, offering a comprehensive list for special offers and available rooms, to ensure that tourists obtain updated and immediate information before booking a holiday. Booking.com is a strategic partner of the portal.
Remarking on the portal was supervisor, Oman Visitors Portal, Bader Mohd Al Azri: “The portal contains information on all the facilities and services and tourist destinations in the Sultanate and is a guide for tourists since their arrival to the moment of departure.
“It also publishes the portal monthly newsletter that includes a lot of tourist news in addition to another bulletin issued continuously for hotel deals. We also have a full team to answer any queries or questions submitted by portal visitors,” he explained.
