Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN) acquired three accolades during the World Travel Awards 2019, which took place on November 28 at the Royal Opera House Muscat.
During the world-recognised ceremony, OMRAN received the ‘World’s Leading Tourism Development Company’ 2019 accolade, which recognises OMRAN’s contribution to Oman’s tourism sector growth.
Meanwhile, Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC), developed by OMRAN, also scooped the ‘World’s Leading New Exhibition & Convention Centre 2019’ title. OCEC significantly contributes to the Sultanate’s blossoming MICE sector. The facility is home to space with cutting-edge communications and audio-visual technology for conferences, exhibitions, meetings, weddings and special events.
Finally, W Muscat, OMRAN’s new upscale property, was crowned the ‘World’s Leading New Hotel 2019’. Situated in Shatti Al Qurum, next to the Royal Opera House Muscat, W Muscat caters to the growing demand for luxury hospitality. The hotel comprises 279 rooms, each offering stunning sea views and boasting design references to Oman’s diverse beauty and heritage.
