Enter Air, a charter airline of TUI Poland, has launched a weekly flight to Ras Al Khaimah from Wroclaw, granting Polish travellers seamless access to the fascinating emirate.
The very first direct flight carrying 185 passengers was warmly welcomed by officials of the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
Thrilled with the launch, CEO, RAKTDA, Haitham Mattar said: “We are delighted to welcome the first direct flight from Wroclaw to Ras Al Khaimah. Over the last few years, Poland has become one of the strongest international tourism source markets to RAK, and therefore, this step is an important strategic development that will further facilitate the successful bilateral ties between both countries. Moreover, this new addition expands the network of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport even further, reflecting the strong global confidence in the Emirate’s travel and tourism industry.
“Europe is a key market for the emirate and we are very confident that this new route will be extremely successful in increasing visitor arrivals to the Emirate even further,” he added.
Meanwhile, CEO, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, Sanjay Khanna noted: “We are pleased to welcome Enter Air to the growing list of international carriers at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. We strongly believe that such partnerships will continue to augment the emirate’s connectivity with all major source markets, as we remain committed to the expansion of new long-haul routes to meet growing international tourist arrivals.”
RAK is a popular option among international tourists, who accounted for an impressive 62 per cent of visitors during the first three quarters of 2018.
