Qatar Airways’ award-winning on-board concept, Qsuite, will be taking centre-stage at the 2017 Paris Air Show, taking place from June 19 to 25 at Le Bourget in Paris.
The unique seat design that sets a new standard for premium class travel will be displayed in a Boeing 777 aircraft for the first time at the Paris Air Show, granting visitors an exclusive preview of the on-board offering.
CEO, Qatar Airways, HE Akbar Al Baker declared: “The Paris Air Show 2017 presents the perfect platform for Qatar Airways to show to the world its first aircraft fitted with our unique, patented and game-changing product, Qsuite. I am sure that our new first in business class product will be a key attraction throughout the week for industry, trade, media and aviation enthusiasts alike, demonstrating once again Qatar Airways’ relentless pursuit of innovation and commitment to ensuring the highest-quality experience for our passengers.”
Qsuite features the aviation industry’s very first double bed, available in business class, with additional privacy panels that stow away, allowing passengers in adjoining seats to create their own private space. TV monitors on the centre four seats are movable, allowing colleagues, friends or families to transform their space into a private suite, to work, socialise and dine together.
