In March 2020, Qatar Airways will be adopting a new service to Luanda in Angola, which will be operated up to five-times weekly by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
Enthusing on the exciting news was chief executive, Qatar Airways Group, HE Akbar Al Baker: “We are excited to be announcing our new service to Luanda – the latest destination in our rapidly expanding African network – connecting the destination to key markets in the Far East, South East Asia and Europe. The new route to the coastal city of Luanda not only further solidifies the links between the State of Qatar and Angola but will enable us to provide a seamless journey to and from this fascinating country and one of the world’s fastest growing economies.”

Committed to enhancing its destination portfolio, the Qatari carrier recently launched flights to a variety of destinations, including Rabat, Morocco; Izmir, Turkey; Malta; Davao, Philippines; Lisbon, Portugal; and Mogadishu, Somalia.
In October of this year, the airline will add Langkawi, Malaysia and Gaborone to its extensive route network.
