In light of the Qatar Summer Festival, taking place from August 1-31, Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) has joined forces with 56 hotels to offer visitors tempting offers.
Hotel partners will be offering special packages throughout the Festival, which include offers to pay for two nights and stay for three in hotels, and pay for five nights and stay for six in hotel apartments.
A number of partners will additionally provide various other incentives such as free breakfasts, late check-outs, free meals for children when accompanied by their parents (a maximum of three children per family) and free transfers to and from Hamad International Airport.
These special offers are also made available to residents booking during the same period.
Since last year’s Qatar Summer Festival, the number of hotels participating has doubled and the country’s hospitality sector has been working even more closely with QTA to ensure that the destination is viewed as a prime option in the GCC.
In order to shed light on the many tourist activities taking place throughout the summer, QTA has embarked on a GCC roadshow with industry representatives, which will stop off in Jeddah, Riyadh, Al Khobar, Manama, Kuwait City, Dubai and Muscat. QTA and its partners will use the roadshow to update travel agents and tour operators on tourism opportunities in Qatar, and further inform on plans for the 2016 Qatar Summer Festival.
Partners participating in the roadshow include: Four Seasons Hotel, Fraser Suites, Lexington Gloria Hotel; Ritz Carlton, Sharq Village & Spa; Sapphire Hospitality & Management; Sheraton Grand Doha; The St. Regis Doha; The Torch Doha; Warwick Doha Hotel; and Shangri-La Hotel Doha.
