Adding a new city to its portfolio, Radisson Blu has announced the opening of an upper upscale property in Ordu, Turkey, which is located on the Black Sea and is surrounded by beaches, rivers and mountains.
Radisson Blu Hotel, Ordu is a semi-conversion, which boosts Rezidor Hotel Group’s portfolio in the country to 23 properties, with over 4,000 keys in operation or under development.
Executive vice president and chief development officer, Elie Younes noted: “We are delighted to arrive in Ordu and to add another major city in Turkey to our network. This will further increase brand awareness for Radisson Blu which is already the largest upper-upscale brand in Istanbul and in Europe. Hotel conversions support our accelerated growth strategy in our focus markets since they join the portfolio relatively quickly and generate immediate revenues.”
Radisson Blu Hotel, Ordu is home to 129 guest rooms, a restaurant and bar, a 1,000m2 ballroom, meeting rooms and a pre-function area as well as a spa, pool, gym, hair salon, and parking bays.
