Marking a milestone first, Carlson Rezidor has announced its inaugural residence in the city of Istanbul; the Radisson Blu Residence Istanbul Batisehir.
The new property will offer 171 studios and apartments, and is scheduled to open its doors to the public in Q2 of 2016.
Explaining the reasons behind this debut was president and CEO, Carlson Rezidor, Wolfgang Neumann: “We see a growing demand for serviced apartments – especially from business and leisure customers from the Middle East. The Radisson Blu Residence will further diversify our offer in Istanbul, one of Europe’s busiest and most attractive markets.”
Also commenting was executive vice president and chief development officer, Carlson Rezidor, Elie Younes: “Turkey is a key focus country for our group. We now operate and develop 20 hotels with more than 3,600 rooms across the country, and want to further drive growth and scale together with experienced national and international partners.”
To be situated on the western side of Istanbul, forming part of the Batisehir project, The Radisson Blu Residence Istanbul Batisehir will boast Radisson Blu signature elements such as free high-speed Internet access. Other facilities will include an all-day-dining restaurant, a bar, a business centre with four meeting rooms, a gym and parking spaces.
