Radisson Hospitality signs for two Makkah hotels

Radisson Hospitality, part of the Radisson Hotel Group, has formalised official agreements with Al-Rajhi Investments for two new hotels in the KSA: Radisson Hotel, Makkah Al Rahma and Park Inn by Radisson Hotel, Makkah Al Rahma.

These new hotels are expected to launch in the second quarter of 2021 and will boost Radisson Hotel Group’s Saudi portfolio to 43 hotels and more than 10,000 rooms in operation and under development.

Thrilled with the news, executive vice president and chief development officer, Radisson Hotel Group, Elie Younes declared: “We’re pleased to strengthen our relationship with our esteemed partner Al-Rajhi Investments with the addition of two new hotels in Makkah. Through Vision 2030, the KSA continues to make significant investments in mega projects to enhance its infrastructure and accessibility. The country remains a focus market for our growth which we are committed to deliver with our local partners.”

The two new properties will be situated in the Mahbas Al-Jin district of Makkah, just two kilometres from the Haram. Radisson Hotel, Makkah Al Rahma will boast 190 rooms, an all-day-dining restaurant, one meeting room, male and female gyms, and individual male and female prayer rooms. Meanwhile, the upper-midscale Park Inn by Radisson Hotel, Makkah Al Rahma will comprise 150 standard rooms, an all-day-dining restaurant, one meeting room, male and female gyms, and individual male and female prayer rooms.
